Shipping & Returns
Your order is very important to us. We will make every effort to fulfill and ship your order as soon as possible. The delivery time for all standard and express shipping orders are estimates only and not guaranteed.
- Shipping occurs Monday through Friday only. No shipping occurs on Saturday or Sunday.
- If you place your order before Noon EST, your order will process and generally ship that day.
- Orders placed after Noon EST will process the next weekday.
- The arrival date of your order is 1 – 5 transit days Monday through Saturday. There are no Sunday deliveries.
- We use several express shipping methods including next business day, 2 business days and 3 business days Monday through Friday.
- There is no express shipping on Saturday or Sunday.

PO Boxes: We ship to Post Office Boxes using the US Postal Service only.
APO/FPO: We ship to APO or FPO addresses using the US Postal Service only.
International: We do not ship international.
Late Delivery & Service Guarantee Refunds: Gifts delivered late may receive a partial shipping refund based on the circumstances. Carriers do not offer refunds of any kind on late deliveries involving a bad address, missing apartment number, incorrect zip codes or any other information supplied which is not accurate. In addition carriers do not offer refunds involving but not limited to the following: Acts of God, weather conditions, Emergency conditions beyond their control, mechanical delays of aircrafts or other equipment failures and several additional issues.
We do reserve the right to make substitutions and do find the need to at various times throughout the year. Not all packaging may look identical to the products photographed as designer packaging does change quite frequently. Please be aware that at times substitutions of a variance in flavor, fragrance or packaging will occur. Refunds, discounts or a new gift being shipped will not be offered due to a substitution.
Due to the heat, we only ship chocolate products from October to mid May. All gifts containing chocolate will have the chocolates substituted out for hard candies when the gift ships any way other than next day air. We do not pay claims of any kind on these items if the melt.
Claims and Returns:
If eGift-Baskets has committed an error (excluding substitutions within standard parameters) or a gift is damaged in transit, we will retrieve the gift and refund it in full or re-ship it. However we do not at any time allow recipients to keep a gift and receive a new one or a complete refund. For us to assist you, the original gift must be retreived. Discounts will be not offered. Retrieving the gift and re-shipping or refunding are the only options.
All damage claims, discrepancies, late delivery claims or issues of any kind must be made within 4 business days of the gift being received. There will be No exceptions to this policy. If a gift arrives damaged or there is a discrepancy in the gift ordered and what was received, eGift-Baskets will make every effort to resolve the issue in a timely manner and to your satisfaction if and when this issue is reported within 4 business days. Credits and or refunds will be at the sole discretion of eGift-Baskets and will only be issued if damaged gifts or discrepancies can be verified by the carrier. If the recipient disposes of the gift before we can verify the damages/discrepancy we will not issue any refund. All claims must be issued in writing by e-mail. Claims will not be accepted via the phone.
If you are not satisfied for any other reason other than an eGift-Baskets error, you may ship it back to us at your own expense as long as it shipped back within 4 business days of being delivered. A partial refund on the merchandise amount only will be offered. A 20% restocking fee will be charged. Original shipping is not refunded. The refund is based on the gifts perish ability and condition upon being returned. The gift must be unopened, un tampered with and shipped back within 4 business days of being received.
If the gift is damaged in any way, which includes but is not limited to heat damage, or we have made an error in sending the incorrect gift, we will call tag the original gift and either ship a new one or refund the gift in full once the original gift has been retrieved. However, if we cannot call tag the original gift, no refund or credit will be offered. Retrieving the original gift is the only way we have of verifying the claim or placing a claim with the shipping provider if necessary. All gifts returned through no fault of eGift-Baskets will be charged a 20% restocking fee. Shipping charges usually consist of shipping to the recipient, shipping back to eGift-Baskets or it's distributors, and any address correction fees associated with the return. Returned food gifts are not reusable and all food items must be thrown out due to possible heat and temperature damages. Re-shipments of returned gifts are handled as new orders and all fees associated with a new order will apply. Gifts delivered late may receive a partial shipping refund based on the circumstances. There will be no discount or refund on the gift itself when delivered late and a gift may not be returned due to a late delivery.
There will be a $15.00 address correction fee for all ground orders and a $17.50 address correction fee for air orders to correct a bad address, incorrect zip codes and non-deliverable address information supplied.
If a package is returned to us by UPS due to a bad address, non-deliverable address or recipient refusal there is an a charge of 15.00 for return shipping and a 20% restocking fee in addition to the address correction fee .Gifts delivered late or not according to the time in transit map may receive a partial shipping refund based on the circumstances. There will be no discount or refund on the gift itself when delivered late and a gift may not be returned due to a late delivery.
